Neighborhoods We Serve in Portsmouth
Churchland
One of Portsmouth’s more suburban neighborhoods, Churchland has a mix of older and newer homes. Many of the 1970s and 80s builds here are at the age where original insulation is starting to fail settling, compressing, or holding moisture.
Cavalier Manor
A well-established neighborhood with a strong sense of community, Cavalier Manor homes are often mid-century and rarely updated on the insulation front. We work here regularly and consistently see energy bill improvements after upgrades.
Olde Towne
This National Historic Landmark district has homes that date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Working in Olde Towne requires a careful approach — we’re improving energy performance without touching the character of historic properties. We use less invasive insulation methods where appropriate and always explain the options before we start.
Cradock
Built in the early 20th century as a planned community for shipyard workers, Cradock’s Arts-and-Crafts-style homes are charming but old. We work here often and the improvements are consistent: original or near-original insulation levels, air leakage around every penetration, and dramatic results after an upgrade.
Park View
This mid-century neighborhood has solid brick ranches and Cape Cods that are well-built but poorly insulated. The second floors and attic spaces in Park View homes are often 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the main floor in summer a problem that insulation solves.
